About Nepal
Nepal is a Mountainous and a land locked country located between China to the North and India to the East, west & South. It covers 147,181 square kilometers area of land. It has got population of nearly about 23 million with 36 ethic groups and 70 spoken languages, but Nepali is the national language of all Nepalese. Topographically it is divided into 3 regions; Himalayans, Hilly and Terai. Its topography stretches from the vast low land of the Terai to the world’s highest peak, the Mount Everest of 8,848 Meters height. It has major 4 seasons, namely 1. Winter: December -February 2. Spring: March – May 3. Summer: June – August 4. Autumn: September-November. Agriculture is the main occupation of Nepalese, so most of the people depend upon the agriculture. Most of the population of Nepal is living their lives under the line of poverty due to lack of education, employment and opportunities. This is the main reason why most of the Nepalese manpower moves to foreign land for foreign employment. In conclusion, Nepal is a developing country. It’s a very beautiful place and a rich country of natural resources. It’s famous for its natural beauty and world famous soldiers the Gurkhas.
